Our Oporto & Douro Region is the real golfing, cultural and gourmet experience at the North of Portugal

During 8 days you will be able to play at the top three Golf courses at the north of Portugal. including Portugal’s oldest one, Oporto Golf Course, discover the Douro Wine region, one of the world’s oldest wine and most relevant wine regions and the home of Port Wine, and have an ultimate gastronomical experience trying the Portuguese Cuisine from the most traditional to the Michelin Star top restaurants.

Stays are all arranged in 5 star luxury hotels and from day 1 to 8 an expert guide will accompany you aboard an exclusive mini bus.

Day 1 – Arrival at Porto and Vidago

We will arrange transportation from Porto Airport, or any other convenient place.

Day 2 – Discover Vidago Park & Spa

Designed during the reign of the King Carlos I, this hotel was opened in 1910.

This sophistacted palace is embeded on an historical park, allowing its guests to live a real fairytale experience.

During the morning, discover the centenary Vidago Park, which is blessed with pure air and the three natural springs that give their name to Vidago’s famous mineral water.

During the afternoon enjoy Vidago Palace’s Thermal Spa with a QuiroGolf Massage or a Mystic Massage. The QuiroGolf Massage is specially designed for golfers to recover and prepare the body and soul to a greater golf performance.

Day 3 – Play at Vidago Golf Course

The awarded Vidago Palace Hotel Golf Course was redesigned by the firm Cameron & Powell.

The course has now been rebuilt from scratch to meet USGA specifications for greens and tees and transformed into a par 72 course,

The main features of the Vidago Palace Hotel Golf Course include raised tees and greens, and bunkers and greens strategically sited so that perfect vision is called for to judge differences in elevation. As a result, the Vidago Palace Hotel golf course will challenge and delight even the most experienced player.

At the end of the day our transfer will take our guests to The Vintage House Hotel

Day 4 – Discover Quinta da Roêda & Charming Dinner at Douro River

For an authentic vineyard experience, visit Croft’s flagship vineyard estate, Quinta da Roêda, at Pinhão in the heart of the Douro Valley.

During the morning discover the secrets of the vineyards by having a  guided walking tour through the property, stopping at points of interest along the way and taking in the magnificent landscape and the stunning views across the Douro River.

At lunch experience a gourmet pic-nic at the vineyards with a menu of traditional Portguese products. This experience will allow you to try some o Portugal most tradional products and to enjoy the amazing sights of the Douro Valley.

After lunch it is wine time! An experient guide will prepare a Wine Tasting experience with some of the best Croft’s  Port and Douro Wines.

To give this day a perfect ending, go aboard a vintage boat at the Douro River for a 2 hour tour and a Gourmet Dinner designed by the portuguese Michelin Star Chef Rui Paula.

Day 5 – Visit Oporto

Sightseeing of Oporto-.Our guide will take you to know the city as a local,taking you to the most famous spots of Oporto’s Dowtown including São Bento Station, Ribeira, D. Luís Bridge and Clérigos Tower.

This city is worldwide known by its centuries of History, its fabulous gastronomy and its welcoming people.

After the sun sets, the city is yours to discover and there will be free time to have dinner. Our guide recomend the best traditional restaurants.

Day 6 – Golf at Estela Golf Club, Douro River Cruise & Port Wine Cellars

In the morning, the golfers will  be driven to Estela Golf Course.

This course is a true links, located in a magnificent area with first class commodities and with a climate cooled by the Atlantic breeze in summer

and warmed by the Golf stream in winter.

In the afternoon our guide will take you to a special sightseing tour: a river cruise aboard a historical Rabelo boat, which was historicaly used to transport Port Wine.

After this small cruise it’s time to meet Port Wine again. At this time with a visit to the Wine Cellars at the south margin of the river. There you will learn a more about this Wine and have the opportunity to taste another selection of great wines.

This night’s dinner will be served at one of the most innovative restaurantes of the city: Euskalduna Studio. This restaurant led by the Chef Vasco Santos is one of the most promising restaurants of the country. Let yourself be amazed by this Chef’s skills.

Day 7 – Golf at Oporto Golf Club, Spa & 2 Michelin Star Dinner

When playing golf at the North of Portugal you can’t skip this historical course. Founded in 1890 by English living at the Oporto, the Oporto Golf Club is the oldest golf club at the Iberian Peninsula and one of the oldest in continental Europe.

During the morning the golfers will be driven to this amazing golf course.

At the afternoon it is time to recover from this amazing week. How? At The Yeatman Hotel’s spa. The Spa’s tranquil setting, evocative of the elemental spirit of wine, includes ten therapy rooms where guests can relax and enjoy Caudalie’s unique Vinothérapie® care.

As farewell dinner you will have one of Portugal’s ultimate gastronomical experiences. The Yeatman’s Restaurant is one of the few 2 Michelin Star Restaurants in Portugal.

The Chef Ricardo Costa will prepare a selection of 10 dishes harmonized with 5 great wines. There is no better way to end a journey in Portugal.

Day 8 – Time to say goodbye to Portugal
